I began my career teaching high school literature.
In 2006, I was offered a full, merit-based academic scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to teach undergraduate research methods while I received my MLIS in human-computer interaction design.
I spent the next 10 years directing UX and brand identity in public and academic libraries. In 2017, I became the CAO of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, a highly internationally-regarded and award-winning institution serving 1.2 million.
D E S I G N L E A D E R S H I P
I applied what I had learned in the library industry and became the Design Director at Quantum Health in 2019. In 2022, I became the Senior Design Director at Jane.com, a 2,000-boutique e-commerce fashion marketplace serving 5 million users.
C R E A T I V E L E A D E R S H I P
I then became the Creative Director at Nymbl Systems, implementing the entire design system and brand identity — including all strategic concept and post-production artwork — leading to major client acquisitions.
